Payment Methods

For your safety and convenience we currently use a 100% secure Credit and Debit card payment processor (Global Iris) and also accept payments using Paypal.

Bold Street Sweets participates in Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for added online payment security which is standard across all sites.



Your order will generally be processed within 3 to 5 working days and delivered within a week. We will contact you should an item be temporarily unavailable.  (We reserve the right to partial delivery, at no additional cost to ourselves, if an item is temporarily unavailable).

If your order is delayed we will do our best to advise you, however if you have not received any goods within 14 days please contact us. We will try and give you an accurate delivery date however in extreme cases this may not be possible.

All stock information is only to be used as a guide and cannot be guaranteed – if we are out of stock of an item there are 3 choices available:

  1. We can offer you a similar item or flavour to the one requested (please note that the customer may be required to pay the difference between these items).
  2. We can offer you a refund for the out of stock item only, and process the rest of the order as requested.
  3. We can deliver the rest of the order that is in stock, and afterwards, once more stock has arrived, deliver the outstanding items separately. In some cases the customer may be required to pay additional postage so please take this into account when selecting this option.

If we are out of stock of a particular item and this makes up part or the entirety of the order we will attempt to contact you by phone and failing this by email. If we do not receive a response within 24 hours then we will use our discretion and replace the product in questions with another flavour (providing they are valued the same). Please be aware this will also result in a 24hour delay in processing the order.



When an order is placed you will receive an order confirmation by email.

The cut off time for postage is 12.00 ; i.e. we can only process and post orders on the same day when received before this time. If requiring next-day delivery, please ensure your order is submitted before this time otherwise it will be posted the next working day.

PLEASE NOTE: “next day” delivery refers to the next working day, therefore it will arrive the next working day (provided the order is submitted before the above cut-off time). Saturday is not a working day and therefore any orders placed after the cut-off time on a Thursday will be posted on Friday to arrive Monday.

International orders may take longer to arrive due to customs delays etc. and as a result Bold Street Sweets will not be held responsible in any way for any delays and subsequent issues with the sell by dates / product condition due to these delays. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any additional taxes or duty/import charges that may be charged to a recipient of a parcel for overseas customers. If you are unsure whether you are likely to be charged, we recommend that you contact your country’s customs’ service before placing your order.

Please note that Bold Street Sweets will not and cannot be held liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer for any failure to meet an estimated delivery date. Once the item has been posted in accordance with these terms and conditions, Bold Street Sweets is absolved of any liabilities for failure to meet delivery times or standards.

When the item is posted promptly and in accordance with the method of postage the customer has selected, Bold Street Sweets can assume no responsibility, for whatever reason, for subsequent delays in the item reaching its destination

PLEASE BE AWARE: at checkout we offer two options – delivery and collect in store (as below). Bold Street Sweets cannot held responsible for any mistakes that arise from a customer error during this selection process. Any errors become the financial responsibility of the customer. Once an order has been placed this becomes the property of the customer and therefore cannot be cancelled or reimbursed for reasons that the wrong method was selected at checkout.

If the customer meant to select collect in store but instead requested postage, they will still have to pay the postage.

If the customer meant to select postage but instead selected collect in store it is their responsibility to pay Bold Street Sweets the cost of the postage in order to deliver the item(s).

It is the responsibility of the customer to realise and rectify their error. In some instances we may realise this and contact you informing you of these terms and conditions, however due to the large quantity of orders it is not a guarantee that you will be contacted.

We offer a free COLLECT IN STORE option.  You are welcome to visit our shop and collect your order there.

Your order will be ready 24 hours after you place your order online.



The purchaser is bound to inspect the condition of the packaging of the goods upon delivery. In the event that an order is received and there is a discrepancy as to a missing item, a claim must be submitted within one week (7 days) of physical receipt. In the event that a product is received in unusable condition (for reasons other than extremes of temperature, weather or error of the courier) a claim must be submitted within 1 week (7 days) after physical receipt of merchandise. If a claim is made after this time Bold Street Sweets will consider it, however this is totally at our discretion and we are within our rights not to rectify the problem. Please note that we do our best to pack your order in such a way that damage should not occur in transit. In the event that your item has been damaged we will do our best to remedy the situation quickly for you.

Should your item arrive damaged please do not dispose of the item before contacting us as we may require photographic proof of any damage in order to make a claim for the damages!

If the items have been opened or damaged in any other way in addition to the damage then returns will not be accepted.



In the unlikely event that you may wish to return any product, Bold Street Sweets will issue a full refund of any items, excluding the initial shipping (unless agreed otherwise). The customer must also cover the cost of the postage in order to return any unwanted goods.

No returns will be accepted without prior approval, and the customer must inform us that they wish to make a return within 7 days of physical receipt of the item, and the item(s) must reach us within 14 days of physical receipt for a return to be issued. This is non-negotiable.

All returned items must be in their original and unopened condition – if they are not in the same condition as they were when they left the store then a return will not be accepted (excluding damaged items as above).


If, for some reason, you wish to cancel an order then you MUST contact us within 12 hours of placing the order. Our packing and shipping is extremely efficient, often posting orders the same day therefore we cannot guarantee effective cancellation of your order. If your order has already been shipped and you wish to return the items for a refund then please see our Returns section above.



Should your order contain items that are out of stock at the time of shipping, we can issue a full refund within 3-5 days and you will receive an email or phone-call informing you of this from our Customer Service team. There are other options available for out of stock items (please see above).


Hot Weather

WARNING: During the summer months some products, especially confectionary, may melt during transport. All orders containing such products are shipped at the CUSTOMERS’ OWN RISK. Please note we have a collect in store option for this purpose which is recommended during the summer period.

We store our chocolate products in temperature controlled units during spells of hot weather in order to keep these products in good condition. However, once shipped we are unable to control the temperature that the goods are subjected to and therefore we are unable to take responsibility for items that, once delivered, turn out to have suffered any type of heat damage.  Please contact us if you are in anyway dissatisfied, as we WILL look after you.



All prices you see on the website are inclusive of 20% VAT.


Privacy Policy

We use the data that you gave during the order process in order to complete your order. You have the right to view, change or delete this data at anytime, please contact us if you wish to discuss or implement any of the aforementioned options.

We do not give your data to any third party apart from our logistics company so that they can deliver your order and our credit institutions so that they can procure payment.
